Coaching for MYF
General Information
To become a Coach for Muskego Youth Football there are some requirements the applicant must complete prior to the season.
- Reach out to the Board of Directors Contact Muskego Youth Football or a Current Coach in the Program to get the conversation started. This can also be done during the players registration process by answering a few questions.
- Complete the Trusted Coaches Background Verification Process. A personal Profile is created on this website by each coach. Instructions will be sent out via Email to the interested Coach from the MYF Coaching Director in May. This needs to be completed each year you coach for MYF. All costs associated are covered by MYF.
- Complete the USA Football Youth Tackle Certifications Program. A personal Profile is created on this website by each coach. This needs to be completed each year you coach for MYF. This will be sent out via Email to the interested Coach from the MYF Coaching Director in May. All costs associated are covered by MYF.
- Muskego Football is a 1st through 12th grade program made possible by a great partnership between MYF and the Muskego High School Football Staff. The Muskego Football Varsity staff offers a clinic for all MYF coaches in April each year lead by Head Coach Ken Krause. All MYF coaches are expected to be present at this clinic.
- The above certifications must be completed prior to Equipment Handout Day. Also, all current and new coaches will be required to be present at the MYF all coaches meeting August 3rd at Suburban Bourbon at 7PM.
- Disclaimer - It is not a right to become or stay a Coach for Muskego Youth Football. We hold our Program and Coaches to a very high standard. Anything that would reflect poorly on our Program or Organization would be grounds for immediate dismissal from the Program at the discretion of the MYF Executive Board or Directors.
